Having clean, white, and beautiful teeth is everyone's dream. Not only does it support your appearance, healthy teeth also support your activities, because it is free from pain, swollen gums, and bad breath.
However, often times, maintaining healthy teeth is not an easy matter. This requires a strong consistency and discipline from the individual concerned. If it is not done properly, it can cause cavities, broken teeth, tartar, gingivitis, yellow teeth, and bad breath. This condition needs to be checked directly to the dentist.
In general, the dentist will directly assess the alignment of your teeth and identify problems that occur one by one. If there is a build up of tartar on your teeth, then the tartar will be cleaned first (scaling). If there are cavities or broken teeth, the doctor can perform fillings or extractions. Furthermore, the doctor may also recommend that you undergo a panoramic x-ray examination to evaluate the condition of the teeth and mouth in more depth. That way, if there is infection or other signs of inflammation, treatment will be adjusted according to the condition you are experiencing. If the arrangement of your teeth is uneven, then braces can also be used.
Overcoming problems with teeth and mouth requires comprehensive efforts. The more complex the problem you are experiencing, the longer you can handle it. However, it is not impossible for people who have damaged teeth to return to having good teeth. Therefore, you should directly entrust your condition to the experts, namely the dentist.
In the meantime, to prevent tooth decay from getting worse, you should be more disciplined in brushing and rinsing with antiseptic mouthwash. Avoid eating before bed. Also avoid consuming too much sweet and acidic foods. Drink plenty of water and control the health of your teeth and mouth to the dentist at least every 6 months.
Maintain healthy teeth and mouth
