Treating Yellow Eyes?
Hello, I am 25 years old, want to ask. My eyes are a little yellow, I had time to go to optics to check the minuses, but it turns out it’s still normal. then the optician said if my eyes were yellow from computer radiation because I happened to be working at a computer for almost four years, and the officer said that for a long time it could cause cataracts, is that right? then how to overcome it? thank you
Need to be ascertained beforehand whether the eyes are yellow or just look unclear. Yellow eyes can be caused by several factors including hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, gallstones, inflammation of the bile ducts, hemolytic anemia, malaria, sickle cell anemia, and disorders of the pancreas.
To deal with yellow eyes, the cause of the yellow eyes must first be ascertained. Since when have you experienced yellow eyes? Are there other complaints such as abdominal pain, urination like tea, or fever?
If there are other complaints as above, you better check first with an internist. Meanwhile, if there are no complaints other than yellow eyes, you can consult with an ophthalmologist first. The doctor will conduct a direct examination to ascertain the cause of the yellow eyes that you experience and then provide further treatment for you in accordance with the results of the examination.
Staring at a computer screen for a long time does not cause yellow eyes but may affect the clarity of the eye alone (along with increasing age too). To maintain eye health, you should rest your eyes regularly, adjust computer lighting, minimize the use of gadgets, and don't rub your eyes.
Hope it helps you,
