I am a TB sufferer, this morning my first medicine entered. There are 2 types of drugs that are taken simultaneously, but my weakness can not take drugs with large size? How about that? So I drink 1 per 1 but don’t stop. I also have a toddler aged 3 years .. for transmission of TB itself like what? Can I have physical interactions at all? I’m waiting for the doctor’s answer. Thank you.

Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com

If you do have difficulty swallowing large medications at once, you can still swallow your medicines one at a time as long as the same time (not separated or given a distance of several hours). Even if you swallow your medication one at a time, if you do not stop, the drug will still reach the level of therapy that is expected, so you can take the medicine in this way. Make sure you take your medication according to the dosage and rules given by your doctor and complete treatment for at least 6 months.

Pulmonary tuberculosis can be transmitted through droplets that come out of the airways when you cough, sneeze, or sing. This droplet will fly into the air around you and if the people around you inhale this droplet, that person has a risk of contracting tuberculosis as well. If you have a close exposure to your toddler before you consume drugs, then there is still a possibility that tuberculosis is contagious to your toddler. Therefore, you should pay more attention to the condition of your toddler. If you see your toddler often has a fever, cough, there is an enlarged gland around the neck, there is a growth disorder (body weight does not increase well), you should take your child to the pediatrician for further evaluation.

To prevent transmission, you can try to always wear a mask around your toddler, avoid coughing and sneezing around children, cover your mouth and nose with your hands, tissues, or handkerchiefs when you cough or sneeze, then wash your hands immediately afterwards. It is better to avoid sleeping 1 room with children, open all the doors and windows of the house in the morning and afternoon so that the circulation of air in the house goes well, and let the sunlight into the room in your home.

So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
