Thank you for using the HealthReplies.com consulting service
Albumin is a protein compound found in blood plasma. Albumin has an important function in regulating osmotic pressure in blood vessels. Low albumin can be at risk of causing swelling or accumulation of fluid, due to leakage of fluid from blood vessels to the surrounding tissue.
Decreased albumin levels are also called hypoalbumin. These conditions can be caused by various things, including disorders of the liver, kidney disorders such as nephrotic syndrome, lack of protein intake, and various other chronic disorders.
Management of hypoalbumin is based on the main cause found. Generally mild or moderate hypoalbumin can be pursued with protein intake or by direct infusion for moderate-severe hypoalbumin. Handling by giving hypoalbumin directly can generally meet the needs of albumin and pursue its shortcomings in accordance with the specified targets. But if the patient experiences a chronic disease as mentioned previously, it is not uncommon for the condition of hypoalbumin to recur.
To help increase albumin levels naturally, try to consume foods high in protein from animal and vegetable protein sources such as eggs, milk, cheese, meat, vegetables, nuts, etc.
So much information that I can convey, hopefully it helps
