Treatment For Depression Sufferers In The Community?

Actually it’s wrong if someone is depressed ?? Why do people always stay away from us when we know we are depressed and why are we always blamed as if we were willing to enter that world. Nobody ever supported me to get well.

Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, people's knowledge about mental disorders is not good enough. Therefore, what you experience is not something that is rarely heard. People who experience mental disorders (including mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, etc.) are often blamed and ostracized even by their own families and those closest to them. This happened because of their lack of knowledge about this disease.
Even so, you can still seek support and assistance from professional medical personnel such as your family doctor or psychiatrist. If indeed you have symptoms of depression that interfere with the function of your daily life, you should consult a psychiatrist to get the appropriate treatment. Psychiatrists will certainly exclude the possibility of physical illness or drugs that can indeed cause depressive symptoms before diagnosing you with depression due to mental disorders.
You can also look for community organizations that are engaged in mental health and depression. There are now many such organizations and support groups for people with mental disorders. In a community like this you will get more support and help you need.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
