Treatment For Floaters That Never Go Away?
many say even some doctors say that the floater in the eye will disappear by itself because it is a process of aging, I am 22 years old and may have long enough to experience this eye floater and never disappear, is there any special treatment that I should do or even need surgery ?
Thank you for the question.
As people age, the gel in the eyeball (often called vitreus) can melt, causing the appearance of floaters. But in addition, floaters can also indicate bleeding in your eyes, inflammation of the back of the eye (posterior uveitis), retinal tears, retinal tear or certain actions performed around the eyes, and many other possibilities.
As to what treatment needs to be done in this regard can be different depending on the cause and severity. If your condition is purely due to the influence of age, and complaints are not too distracting, often no special handling is needed. But if indeed your activities become very limited because of it, you should check yourself back to the doctor or eye doctor. Some types of drugs or surgery (such as vitrectomy) can be done by your doctor depending on your condition.
For now, all you need to do is, keep your eyes away from the introduction of foreign objects that trigger inflammation, including sunlight, smoke, wind, dust, and pollution. Limit also activities that often make the eyes tired too much.
Hope this helps ...
