Treatment For Inflammation Of The Gallbladder?

On the previous occasion I had asked before about pain in the upper right abdomen, and it radiated to the right upper back, and it was possible that I had a problem with my bile organ, of course I immediately went to the doctor and my ultrasound doctor, the doctor said I had inflammation of the gallbladder, and the liver was covered with cholesterol fat, but the doctor’s actions only gave me medicine to drink, and my condition still felt pain, I was only given medicine to drink like pain relievers, and I was told to check again the following week, is there nothing more specific treatment doctor? Or maybe it’s because I use BPJS so the treatment is just like that, what should I do doctor?, I’m afraid of the slow treatment my pain will get worse, doctor

Hi Dian Marlina. Inflammation of bile or cholecystitis in general can be caused by several things such as:
1. the presence of gallstones where due to the presence of gallstones there is an obstruction to the release of bile and the collection of bile which due to the static condition causes inflammation easily
2. the presence of a tumor
3. the presence of infection by certain bacteria or viruses
Treatment itself can include treating accompanying symptoms, antibiotics, pain relievers, and treating underlying problems such as removing gallstones if they are caused by stones. Consult your doctor because the treatment itself depends on the clinical symptoms and the severity of the infection and the cause. What you can do is
1. Avoid fatty foods
2. Avoid alcoholic beverages and smoking
3. Follow the doctor's advice
If your symptoms such as abdominal pain do not improve or become more severe, then consult your doctor immediately. Here's about inflammation of the gallbladder. Hopefully helpful, and thank you. Regards, Dr Alyssa
