Hello I have lumps of neurofibroma all over my body, but thin lumps like benthics, can they disappear permanently and medicine. What is it that I like to itch on prickles all over my back, do you have any medicine
Hello Eza Rahman,
Neurofibroma is a disorder characterized by the appearance of multiple tumors that form from nerve tissue in the skin. Tumors in the majority of neurofibromas are benign, but some can develop into cancer (malignancy). The cause of neurofibroma is unknown but is often found in patients with genetic disorders of type 1 neurofibromatosis.
Many neurofibromas occur at the age of 20-40 years. Generally do not cause any symptoms as long as the size of the lump is not large pressing nerve fibers. The diagnosis of neurofibroma is through physical examination, history of complaints / illness, and supporting MRI examinations, CT-scans, and / or biopsy. Neurofibroma treatment is observation (to evaluate tumor growth) and surgery. Surgery focuses primarily on tumors that suppress nerve fibers. There is no effective drug to deal with neurofibromas.
When the skin with neurofibroma appears itchy, as much as possible not to scratch that part. Compress with cold water can reduce itching. Bathing at least 2 times a day, drying well, and using clothing from a cool material and absorbs sweat. You can use calamine lotion or powder containing menthol to reduce itching.
If you experience a lump in the skin that has not been diagnosed by a doctor as a neurofibroma, you should consult yourself directly with your doctor so that it can be examined and can determine the cause of the lump. That way can be given appropriate treatment. Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
