Treatment For Parkinson’s Disease?
In the morning I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s by one of the therapists I went to but was not given medication, only given prayer water, from a medical point of view what should I do and how? Thank you
Parkinson's disease is a disease caused by degeneration / damage to the nerves in the brain that regulate body movements. A symptom that is commonly known and easily recognized by many people is trembling. But not all shaking / tremors are caused by Parkinson's. There are still other causes, for example caffeine overdose, excess thyroid hormone, alcoholism, essential tremor and so on.
Parkinson's disease must be enforced by a doctor or neurologist after taking anamnesis (question and answer), physical examination and supporting examinations. In Parkinson's, the diagnosis is based on clinical symptoms. There must be two of the three cardinal signs of Parkinson's disease, namely resting tremor, rigidity (stiffness of the limb where if it is moved passively there will be resistance like a toothed wheel) and slow motion activity (bradykinesia).
We recommend that you take the steps to consult a neurologist to confirm what you are experiencing because you do not necessarily have Parkinson's disease. The neurologist will examine you and determine your next steps.
