Treatment For Perforated Eardrums?
I have already checked the ENT doctor and will not recover, still can be new, but has been told to keep the infection from infection etc.
Hello Ros, Thank you for the question.
The eardrum works to detect incoming sounds and convert them into vibrations which are then transmitted to the auditory bone and the auditory nerve to be converted into signals to the brain. The eardrum can rupture due to injury, pressure (barotrauma,) or middle ear infection (otitis media), or loud noise. Broken ear drum can cause symptoms of pain, discharge from the ear, fever, hearing loss, nausea, vomiting, dizziness. A ruptured eardrum will usually heal on its own within 6-8 weeks. Doctors will usually provide treatment aimed at overcoming the symptoms of sufferers and antibiotics to prevent or treat infections. Further action can also be taken by a doctor if this condition does not improve.
You should not use earphones first because if the earphones are contaminated, this can potentially cause infection in your ears. In addition, you are also advised to keep your ears clean and dry, avoid swimming, avoid cleaning ears or insert any object into the ear, and avoid holding your breath in the nose when sneezing. Do not hesitate to consult your ENT specialist if your complaint worsens or does not improve.
Hopefully this information is useful.
