Hello …. I am David aged 17 years, I have been suffering from prurigo hebra since I was 5 years old and this disease has caused scars on my feet and hands. I have a number of questions, 1. Is this disease related to foods such as eggs and shrimp? 2. Will this scar disappear with age? 3. What is the most effective way to get rid of this scar?
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Prurigo is a medical terminology that describes the presence of nodules or bumps on itchy skin. The cause of prurigo is still not known with certainty and is associated with long-standing inflammation of the skin which triggers an increase in melanin which causes a dark blackish color to the skin.
Prurigo is generally closely related and begins with a trigger in the form of insect bites, atopic dermatitis, allergies, stress, herpes, and other skin infections.
Handling that can be given varies depending on the condition of your skin and the degree of severity that occurs, snacks can use certain creams, anti-inflammatory drugs, antihistamines, light therapy, laser therapy, and frozen surgery therapy.
For some things to prevent it:
Not scratching when itchy but rubbing slowly
Maintain personal and environmental hygiene
Using a skin moisturizing cream
Drink plenty of water
Manage stress and get enough rest
Avoiding air that is too hot or too cold
Avoid dust, pollution, cigarette smoke
Avoiding certain foods that you feel can trigger itching on the skin
Over time the black marks on the hill can fade, but it is necessary to remember and avoid the onset of lesions or new scars if itching occurs later on. Therefore it is important to prevent itching by avoiding certain triggers
To get further evaluation and management hangs it's a good idea to see a dermatologist
So much information from me, hopefully it helps
