Treatment Of Circumcision Sutures?
Hello, I circumcised 2 weeks ago using a laser. Some of the stitches healed and dislodged from bathing. But there are still sewn but not yet come off.
Hello Fragarachu, thank you for asking.
At present the circumcision method, consists of several kinds of ways. Generally the current method is far more practical, so the procedure is faster and healing is also faster. Of course, the healing time varies for each individual, depending on the immune system and general condition of a person. Generally, circumcision sores are dry and begin to improve within a period of 2 weeks. If it turns out that until now there are some wounds that have not closed completely and are still festering or bleeding, you should consult a doctor who treats you.
The wound should be kept clean so that it is not easy to get an infection. You can try cleaning the wound with clean gauze moistened with boiled water, then apply an antiseptic solution to the wound. Keep the wound dry and not damp, especially when you have finished urinating and defecating. Choose the type of underwear that absorbs sweat and do not wear underwear too tight.
The doctor will examine your wound then determine the next course of action. If necessary, the doctor may have to re-stitch. Make sure your nutritional intake, especially protein, is at optimal levels, for faster wound healing. As much as possible, avoid sexual relations first so that the wound heals properly.
Thus my explanation, hopefully useful. Regards.
