Treatment Of Fractures?
Hello. I am female, 21 years old. I have a fractured knee joint; Tibial plateau fracture medial aspect with minimum deppressed component. Is the fractured bone re-formed within 4 weeks?
Good afternoon, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Regarding injury recovery and healing, or in this case bone fractures, the actual duration varies depending on various things, such as age, location of injury, severity, duration of treatment, physical condition, wound care, nutrition and the presence or absence of ballast factors such as infection.
So in your case, it could be enough for a month if the condition is mild and the recovery is right by minimizing motion, but it could be more than that if during your recovery you continue to move, or even if later you have an infection. Therefore, the most able to answer your question is the orthopedic doctor who handles you and conducts routine checks on you, because with the routine examination, it can be seen how you are progressing from the previous meeting.
What is clear, if what you are asking about is related to you wanting to do certain physical activities, it should be postponed first, because even if it says healed, you should not start heavy activities right away. Meanwhile, minimize movements that involve knee rest, and multiply the consumption of protein sources such as milk, cheese, yogurt, beef, chicken breast, tempeh, tofu and seafood. So, hopefully answering your question.
