Treatment Of Injuries From Falling Motorcycles?
, want to ask? Last Thursday I fell from mtor. Well, my right instep is scratched. Then 4 days after it is dry. Day 5 I was forced to work but I closed it using gauze. In the afternoon, the wound was swollen and soft. Now the wound is pretty dry. But why is it soft to touch it like the deep one that hasn’t dried yet? What should I do?
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
The wound is likely indeed not fully recovered. Uncomplicated wound healing will pass through the inflammatory phase for about 5-7 days. Inflammation that still occurs causes the wound to look like it is wet and still moist. It is better to keep the wound dry and not to contact liquid other than disinfecting the wound. As long as the wound does not show signs of infection, such as pus production, always wet, and long to heal, there is no need to worry too much. Moreover, abrasions generally do not cause injury to the deeper layers of the skin, with good care it can recover quickly. The important thing to note is to always clean the routine wound in a sterile way and close the wound if it seems still a little wet.
That's all, hope you can help.
