Hello fanthonyjun,

Abnormalities in nails can arise due to several possibilities ranging from nail infections due to fungus, nail trauma, allergic reactions due to exposure to irritants such as soap, detergents and other irritants, or due to other health problems such as thyroid disorders, autoimmune diseases, flow disorders blood, infectious diseases, anemia and genetic factors or the effects of certain drugs can be the cause.

Onycholysis itself is a nail problem that can occur suddenly where the nail is detached from its appearance. Handling itself depends on what is the cause for it needs to be examined by a dermatologist in order to do the examination and proper handling. Try to keep the skin clean of the nail area, avoid exposure to allergens, keep nails dry and moist, and try to keep nails short so that trauma is not easy, you can also use protective gear such as gloves especially if doing work in contact with water or with irritants like soap or detergent.
