Then I also went to a bone specialist for treatment, but there have been no changes. Udh therapy is also approximately 10x. I ask for his advice for healing my mother. Thank you Wassalam
Hello Yusril, Thank you for the question.
Do you mean the pinched nerve condition is hernia nucleus pulposus (HNP)? HNP is a condition of protrusion of the cushion between vertebrae which then causes nerves located in the spinal canal to be pinched. Clamping of these nerves can cause complaints of pain, numbness or tingling, weakness of the limbs. To find out the severity of the patient's condition doctors usually recommend an MRI examination to assess the condition of the spine and surrounding soft tissue including the spinal cord. Treatment for this condition is intended to deal with complaints experienced by patients and the treatment recommended by doctors also varies depending on the severity of the patient's condition. Treatment that is recommended by the doctor can include the administration of pain medications, muscle relaxants, corticosteroid injections, or corticosteroid tablets. In addition, sufferers are also usually advised to undergo physiotherapy to help deal with pain.
If symptoms are left untreated for more than 6 weeks or if they are accompanied by muscle weakness that makes it difficult to stand or walk, doctors will usually recommend surgery. Please advise your mother to consult again with a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic specialist if this complaint has not improved. Discuss with your doctor about the next treatment steps, do not hesitate to ask the doctor if you still have further questions.
I hope this helps.
