Tuberculosis Combination Drug Consumption Rules?
Does it matter after taking the drug pehadoxin F tab 100 switching to Sanazet 500 tab 100? Because it’s different doctors who check it the first time .. I want to drink, why are I hesitant .. what’s the solution?
Hello Supatmi, Thank you for the question.
What are you taking this drug for? The content of these two drugs is different. Pehadoxin F is a trademark of a drug containing isoniazid and pyridoxine (vitamin B6), while adazet 500 is a trademark of a drug containing pyrazinamide. Either isoniazid ata pyrazinamide is an antituberculosis drug (OAT) which is generally used in combination with other anti-tuberculosis drugs or in other words it is not taken alone to treat tuberculosis. OAT consists of several drugs, namely isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, ethambutol, and streptomycin. To treat tuberculosis sufferers, the recommended treatment is to combine several of these drugs.
Due to the lack of information about your medical condition in the questions above, you should again consult with your treating doctor about administering these different drugs. Do not hesitate to discuss with your doctor if you have any further questions because the doctor has examined you and is more aware of your condition.
Hope this information is helpful.
