Good morning doctor,

1 Answer:

Good evening, thanks for the question

Entering the advanced phase, TB treatment in adults is given no longer every day, but three times a week. In your case it is actually the same thing if you start consuming tomorrow, which is Saturday, or Monday if you last took the medicine on Friday. But the thing to remember is to be consistent. If you start taking Saturday, your schedule for taking medicine is every Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday, and if starting on Monday, your schedule for taking medicine is every Monday-Wednesday-Friday, and so on until you finish the next phase. You can set it as comfortable as you like, but indeed Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule is more often recommended because it is more easily remembered by patients.

That's all, hope you can help
Wassalam.
