Ultrasound Examination Results?
What is the normal ultrasound at 37 weeks of pregnancy? … Dri EDD, HC, GA, EFW, BPD
Good evening, thanks for the question
In the pregnancy ultrasound examination several important parameters to be measured especially in the last trimester of pregnancy. BPD or biparietal diameter is a measurement on both sides of the head that starts to be measured after 13 weeks' gestation. Normally at the age of 37 weeks is around 92 mm. HC or head circumference is a measurement of the fetal head circumference that starts to be measured after 13 weeks gestation. Normally at 37 weeks is around
330 mm. FL or femur length is the longest bone measurement in the body and reflects the fetal longitudinal growth. Normally at 37 weeks it is around 72 mm. AC or abdominal Circumference is a measurement of the fetal abdominal circumference and reflects the size and weight of the fetus. Periodic AC examination is used to monitor fetal growth in the womb. Normally at 37 weeks it is around 327 mm.
EFW or estimated fetal weight is the estimated fetal weight calculated from the results of measurements of AC, BPD, HC, and FL with a margin of error of 15%.
That's all, hope you can help.
