Uncertain Signs Of Pregnancy?

I want to ask.. I last had my period on January 11th. Lately I’ve been feeling pain in my lower abdomen. And I’m tired and sleepy but don’t experience vomiting, just nausea. On the 7th, only a few blood spots came out. And today, I have quite a lot of pink blood, do I have any indications that I am pregnant or not?

Hi Chie,
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Maybe what you are confused about is whether the bleeding you are experiencing at this time is part of a sign of pregnancy (implantation bleeding) or regular menstruation.
When fertilization occurs between an egg cell and a sperm cell, the fertilized fetus will be transferred to the uterus and then implanted in the uterine wall. This event can cause minor tears in the blood vessels in the uterine wall that can come out as blood spots. Sometimes, it is difficult to distinguish this bleeding from regular menstrual blood. However, in most cases, the bleeding due to implantation of the fetus is very small (1-2 drops only), very short in duration (1-2 days only), and is not accompanied by severe abdominal cramps as occurs during menstruation.
If you're experiencing a lot of bleeding right now, then it's probably not a sign of pregnancy, but part of your regular period. The lower abdominal pain, fatigue, drowsiness, and nausea that you experience do not necessarily indicate pregnancy. These various complaints can also occur due to premenstrual syndrome, dyspepsia syndrome, anemia, urinary tract infections, and so on.
However, it doesn't hurt you to do a testpack to overcome your worries. If the result is negative, you can do a retest in 3 to 7 days. If it remains negative, it means that what you are experiencing is not pregnancy.
For more details, you can check directly with a gynecologist, yes.
In the meantime, try to relieve your stomach pain and nausea using a warm compress. Get used to eating regularly 3 to 5 times a day with small portions balanced also with diligent exercise and adequate rest.
Hope it helps ya..
