Hello Habib Hasibuan,
Nephrotic syndrome is a disruption in the filtering function of the kidneys so that the body loses too much protein. Some of the signs and symptoms that people with nephrotic syndrome often experience include excess protein in the urine, high blood pressure, swelling in almost all parts of the body due to fluid buildup, and susceptibility to infection.
There are several health conditions that cause nephrotic syndrome, including:
impaired immune system, which causes minimal leakage of the filtering process in the kidneys
glomerulosclerosis, which is the growth of scar tissue on the glomerulus (the part of the kidney that is in charge of the urine filtering process)
complications from certain diseases such as diabetes mellitus, lupus, HIV and sickle moon anemia.
In the process of making a diagnosis, the doctor will perform urine and blood tests and if necessary the doctor will perform a kidney biopsy.
This condition is treated depending on the condition of the underlying disease. Examples of drugs that are often used include antihypertensive drugs, diuretics to remove excess fluid buildup, steroids and penicillin.
The steroids given aim to treat inflammation or minimal change glomerulonephritis. As many as 90% of sufferers can be treated using steroids within 6-8 weeks. However, the duration of treatment also depends on the patient's condition, so it depends on the results of the analysis and examination of the doctor. For more details, you can immediately ask the doctor who treats you
so, I hope this answer is useful
