Upper Headache To The Forehead, Eyes And Neck Feel Stiff?
hello, u003cbr u003about 1 month I often have headaches to the front of the forehead and eyes. my neck also often aches and stiffness.
Good evening, thanks for the question
Headache is divided into 2 types, namely primary and secondary headaches. Primary headache if there is no underlying cause of organ disorders, while secondary headache if caused by other medical conditions or more severe organ disorders. Types of primary headaches include tension type headaches, migraines, cluster headaches.
The main complaint is that the headache you are complaining about can be caused by tension type headaches or cluster headaches.
1. Tense type headache
Complaints of pain are spread widely and with mild to moderate intensity. Pain is initially felt by the patient in the back of the neck and then spreads to the back of the head and then spreads to the front. This type of headache is closely related to stress and excessive anxiety.
2. Cluster head pain
Cluster headache appears in the area around the eyes and can spread to the neck, head, shoulders, or face. One of the eyes becomes red or swollen and one of the nostrils becomes runny or blocked depending on the side of the head that is experiencing pain.
Some causes that can trigger headaches include:
2. Fasting and late eating
3. Foods such as alcohol, chocolate, milk, cheese
4. Flash or flicker
5. Get lots of sleep or lack of sleep
6. Hereditary factors
7. Personality factors
8. Psychic stress
10. Hot weather
The diagnosis is based on the typical symptoms above and on physical examination there are usually no significant abnormalities. Make further consultations with your doctor to get adequate treatment.
To reduce symptoms avoid the risk factors above and can do the following:
- Relax muscles around the neck
- Warm compresses to the neck area
- Bathing using warm water to relax tense muscles
That's all, hope you can help
