Urinary Hole Shrinks After Circumcision In Children Aged 2 Years?
HalloDok. I want to ask my 2-year-old son has been circumcised but his penis closed again, and so there was a problem when pee because the urine hole was as narrow as a needle. Poor when you pee so rich you are in pain.
Thank you for the question.
Circumcision is the act of cutting the prepuce (foreskin of the penis) so that it no longer covers the head of the penis and urinary hole. Circumcision does not cause a direct impact on the penis or its own urinary hole. So after being circumcised, the obstacle when urinating that your child is experiencing should be resolved, not vice versa.
The condition of your child whose urinary hole seems to shrink to the point where it is difficult to pass urine is most likely due to the following factors:
There is still an unbroken penis foreskin that covers the urinary hole or irritation to certain substances that are in contact with genitals, etc. You should not panic in response to your child's condition. Go check it directly to the doctor or pediatric surgeon so that his condition is further evaluated. It is not impossible, the doctor will advise your child to take certain medications or also undergo surgery.
In the meantime, you need to make sure your child's genitals are always clean. Give your child enough to drink, ask him not to hold back urination, and calm him down when he feels uncomfortable when urinating.
Hope this helps ...
