Urine Test Results?
Hello, I’m beautiful. Some time ago I did a medical check up at one of the hospitals for a work test, but I did not pass due to the results of the GLUKOSA +3 urine test. What does that mean? Is it diabetes, or kidney? Thank you doctor.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
The condition for the discovery of glucose in the urine is called glycosuria. Glycosuria is most often caused by diabetes mellitus. Basically, the kidneys will absorb glucose from the urine to be returned to the bloodstream so glucose will not be found in the urine. If the glucose level in the blood is too high (as in diabetes mellitus), this glucose will not be absorbed again and eventually released through urine.
Another cause of glycosuria is renal glycosuria. In renal glycosuria, glucose levels in the blood are normal. This condition is a rare condition. The cause is a genetic disorder inherited from parents. In this condition, the problem lies in the kidney tubules which cannot absorb glucose back into the blood despite normal blood sugar levels.
We recommend that you bring the results of the examination to an internal medicine doctor so that you can further evaluate your health condition.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
