Use The Correct Mask?
In the morning, Doctor or Mrs. Doctor, hopefully it will be launched by Rizkinya Aamiin, I want to ask you now at the school there is a socialization saying that the use of the correct mask is white outside for the healthy and green outside for the sick. or wrong sir / ma’am Please enlighten me thank you ..
Hello Achmad, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Basically, masks that are commonly sold and easily available are divided into 3 layers:
The outside (generally colored) functions as a fluid repellent
The middle part acts as a deterrent to germs
The inside (generally white) functions as a absorption absorption
In general, the recommended use of masks (for both the sick and healthy) is the white part used inside and the colored part outside because the mask has been specifically designed for which parts should be outside and which parts are inside. It is not recommended to use it in reverse because it causes the function of each layer to be ineffective.
If indeed you are sick, it is possible to pass it on to someone through coughing or sneezing, in addition to using a mask as they should (white bagain inside) it is also advisable to immediately see a doctor and apply a good coughing or sneezing method.
Also keep in mind that this type of mask is only a disposable mask, so when used it must be disposed of in a trash can and should not be used repeatedly.
I hope this helps.
