Using Baby Soap For Acne Prone Skin?
Good night! R nI am a 17 year old teenager who has a bacne problem. I happen to have a sensitive skin from a young age and always use a sebamed baby bubble bath, but as I grow up I think my skin has no more problems but it turns out that my skin does not match the soap I use now. looking for info on Youtube how to disappear, Bacne, can you use soap / gentle soap plus dettol. Can I use a sebamed baby bubble bath as gentle soap? thanks
Hello, thank you for your question
Acne generally appears on parts of the body that have oil glands or hair follicles, such as the face, chest, or back. Before discussing how to treat acne, you first need to know the mechanism of acne, which is the closure of skin pores by oil, dirt, dead skin cells, and bacteria. These are things that need to be avoided so as not to continue to form pimples, including pimples on the back.
Here's how to deal with acne on the back which can be a little different from treating acne on the face:
get used to showering after each exercise
choose clothes made of cotton and not tight
change clothes every time you shower or more often if you get wet / sweaty
use a soap containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, sulfur which is known to be useful in treating acne
avoid pressing or squeezing pimples
When bathing, avoid rubbing the affected area too hard, likewise when drying your body with a towel, just lightly pat the area
consumption of a balanced nutritious diet with more fruit and vegetable composition
The use of baby soap is generally recommended for people with sensitive skin, who tend to experience allergies, irritation, or eczema. The benefits of baby soap for acne prone skin have not been scientifically proven.
Regarding your complaint, if it doesn't get better with the recommendations above, it would be better to consult directly to a skin specialist. Doctors can recommend skin care with special procedures, including prescribing oral acne medication (drinking tablets).
So, hopefully it's useful
