Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse During 9 Months Of Pregnancy?
I am 9 months pregnant already open 1. When I had sex with my husband there was blood. What is the omen. Or is it dangerous? There’s not much blood
Hello Dede, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
The appearance of blood spots is normal when a pregnant woman is approaching labor. Blood spots can start to appear several weeks before delivery, usually accompanied by watery mucus discharge or mucus clots from the vagina. Bleeding that occurs after sexual intercourse is also a condition that is quite common during pregnancy. This is due to cervical ectropion in pregnant women (shifting of cells from the inside of the cervix to the outside of the cervix). This is generally not dangerous as long as the bleeding comes out only a little (just a spot) and can stop on its own.
Even so, it's a good idea to have yourself checked out by a Gynecologist. Bleeding from the vagina that occurs in the second and third trimesters can also be a sign of placenta previa or low lying placenta. To ensure normal bleeding that you experience, the doctor will perform an ultrasound examination of your pregnancy.
The following are some of the signs that you need to watch for towards the end of your pregnancy, if you find the following signs, go to the hospital immediately:
There are contractions that get so strong that it is difficult for you to walk
Contractions that are regular and occur every 5 minutes for 1 hour
There is fluid seeping or flowing profusely from the vagina
The occurrence of profuse bleeding from the vagina
There is a decrease in the baby's movements, that is, if you feel less than 10 movements in 2 hours
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
