Vaginal Discharge Bloody Mucus After Intercourse?
Hello.. I want to ask, I have my period on the 9th and I finished my period on the 14th, then I had sex on the 15th but after having sex my vagina oozes like mucus but bleeds.. Why am I like this?
Hi Reredel, thanks for the question for HealthReplies.com
Vaginal bleeding after sex is not always caused by cervical cancer. The following are some possible causes of vaginal bleeding as you are experiencing:
the rest of the menstrual blood that has not been clean mixed with vaginal secretions or ejaculated fluid that enters the vagina the occurrence of injury to the vagina due to lack of lubricant during penetration (post menstruation the vagina tends to become drier) or because of rough sexual intercourse infection of the reproductive tract cervical ectropion ( shift of cells from the inside of the cervix to the outside of the cervix) benign tumors of the blood vessels of the cervix
For a while you can pay attention to the bleeding that occurs first. If the bleeding is light and can stop on its own, there is no pain in your pelvic area and lower abdomen, there is no fever, then there is probably nothing to worry about. However, if the bleeding occurs very much, or the blood comes out continuously, and occurs every time you have sex, you should consult an obstetrician and gynecologist (gynecologist) for an immediate examination.
Meanwhile, you can try to do foreplay longer before penetrating during sexual intercourse or use lubricants to avoid injury to the vagina during penetration.
That's all the information from me, hopefully it's enough to answer
