Vaginal Discharge In A 12 Year Old Adolescent?
Hay r n r nI am a flower. My age was 12 years ago when suddenly, when I urinated, blood came out of my vagina but my breasts were still small. That’s normal, right?
Hi Flowers .. Thank you for the question given.
Menstruation for the first time or in medical language called menarche can occur in girls aged 12 years, but in some people can experience it around the age of 8 years or after the age of 12 years. Signs of puberty in girls include developing breasts, the growth of fine hairs in the armpit and female areas, weight gain and height, acne breakouts, and menstruation.
Blood that comes out of the vagina can be caused by having your first menstrual period. The first menstruation can occur only in small amounts or within a few days. This is normal for puberty-age children.
Apart from menstruation, blood from the vagina can also occur if you experience trauma to the vaginal area or because of irritation. Therefore you can discuss this with your parents. Meanwhile keep your feminine area clean, change sanitary napkins regularly, and consult your parents if you are worried.
