Vaginal Discharge Yellowish Mucus And Itching After 3 Weeks Of Caesarean?
I had a cesarean section for about 3 months. And until now, the vagina still secretes a liquid like yellowish mucus that causes itching in the vagina. Is it dangerous or not, please explain.
What you are experiencing can be caused by various conditions such as:
Wounds that have not healed Fungal infections Bacterial infections
Caesarean section is one of the operations that can cause significant injuries to the uterus. If this wound has not healed completely, there may be discharge that usually appears on the wound which helps the wound healing process. Fungal or bacterial infections can also cause discharge which can be called abnormal vaginal discharge which can be white, cloudy, yellowish or greenish, accompanied by itching or pain, smelly and may be accompanied by blood.
It's a good idea to check back with your doctor. A more complete interview and in-person examination is needed to determine what you are experiencing. Later therapy will be adjusted to what you are experiencing.
I hope this helps.
