Vaginal Swelling In Pregnancy 8 Months?
Hello. I am about 8 months pregnant. Well, from a week ago, my vagina which initially hurt like being pulled for 3 days when squatting. And after that my vagina and deep rugae were swollen a little out but it became more and more swollen. But the pain just squats. When I sit or something, it doesn’t hurt and even when I urinate, I don’t feel any pain or pain or itching. My question is whether the swelling in my vagina and rugae is fairly normal or there is a certain disease. And how to overcome it. Do you still need a supporting examination. Thanks.
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Swelling accompanied by pain in the vagina during pregnancy often occurs in some people. This is generally related to increased blood flow and suppression of organs in the lower abdomen, as well as hormonal changes that occur. This swelling generally occurs symmetrically on both the labia or vaginal lips. But it can also be caused by several other possibilities such as vaginitis or cysts.
In the meantime what you can do include:
Maintain personal and environmental hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of the female area
Wash after urinating or defecating
Do not use feminine washing soap
Dry to dry thoroughly after washing
Avoid using pants that are too tight
Change underwear regularly or when it is damp
If your complaint does not improve or you are worried you should check with your obstetrician for further examination and treatment related to your condition
So much information from me, hopefully it helps
