Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The average healthy adult needs a vitamin E dose of about 100 to 300 IU per day. The need for this vitamin can vary depending on many factors, including age, gender, activities carried out, as well as other illnesses.
Vitamin E itself is an antioxidant which is very important for its function to maintain endurance, maintain cell growth, eye health, skin, and various other organs.
The real need for vitamin E does not always have to be met by consuming supplements. You can also consume foods, such as green vegetables, sprouts, nuts, seeds, wheat, avocados, olives, olive oil, etc. to meet your vitamin E needs.
You can do the consumption of vitamin E supplements. However, it is not advisable to take any supplements or drugs in the long term without the supervision of a doctor. This is because excessive consumption of vitamin E supplements can also trigger health problems, such as osteoporosis (bone loss), body swelling, bleeding, headaches, nausea, blurred vision, flatulence, diarrhea, and so on.
Therefore, check with your doctor first before deciding to take any supplements.
I hope this helps.
