Hello Lely, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
If you have black bowel movements, there are several possible causes:
peptic ulcer or a sore on the stomach or duodenum
gastritis or inflammation of the stomach
tear in the esophagus (for example due to gastroesophageal reflux disease or severe vomiting)
rupture of esophageal varices (usually in people with cirrhosis of the liver)
take medications or supplements that contain iron
Vomiting is actually just a term used to describe the symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea that occur together. Vomiting is most often caused by an infection in the gastrointestinal tract, but can also be caused by other things such as impaired absorption of food substances, food poisoning, food allergies, and so on.
If you experience vomiting and loose stools, especially if your vomit has a blackish color or blood, then you should immediately go to the hospital. This condition can be caused by bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract, it could be due to gastritis, peptic ulcer, tear in the esophagus, or rupture of esophageal varices. You will need further tests to determine the cause such as blood tests, stool examinations, abdominal ultrasound or endoscopy if necessary.
For now, some of the things you can do include:
Drink more fluids, if you feel nauseous and vomit if you drink a lot, drink a little, but more often
Eat small amounts of food but more often, you can eat soft foods first so that they are easier to swallow and digest
Avoid eating spicy or acidic foods
Avoid drinks that stimulate stomach acid such as coffee, tea, soda, chocolate
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
