Watery Eyes When Sleeping?
Sorry I want to ask why my eyes always shed tears when sleeping. But my eyes don’t hurt if I don’t sleep, my eyes are fine. how long have you still shed tears when you sleep?
Hello, Hendrik Palamba. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.
Are frequent watery eye complaints accompanied by a sharp decrease in vision? Are accompanied by accompanying symptoms such as pain, itching, and sensation of tired eyes? Complaints that you feel can be caused by several possibilities, which often include:
Dry eye syndrome (dry eyes due to suboptimal tear volume or function causing disturbances in the tear layer, symptoms: dry, frequent watery eyes, itching, aches / fatigue for a long time, foreign body sensations such as sand) Viral conjunctivitis (inflammation conjunctiva due to viral infection, symptoms: red eyes, lots of clear fluid) Allergic conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva due to allergic reactions, symptoms: red eye, there are other allergic complaints such as runny nose and sneezing especially in the morning) If complaints continue to interfere, You are advised to consult a doctor or ophthalmologist so that anamnesis and physical examination and support can be done (if necessary). Thus, it is hoped that the disease causing the complaint can be identified and given appropriate treatment. At home, you are advised not to rub your eyes, maintain hygiene, and avoid excessive exposure to pollution. To enrich insight, you can read articles about dry eyes.
Thus information from us. Hopefully always healthy. May be useful.
