Itchy and watery sores that appear after applying the plaster are most likely because you have an allergy to the adhesive in the plaster. This condition is known as allergic contact dermatitis. To overcome this, you should no longer use the same wound plaster. You can try to find a bandage or adhesive that is labeled hypoallergenic if you want to cover your wound with a bandage.
Meanwhile, to deal with allergies in your current skin, you can apply a cream containing 1% hydrocortisone. Apply a thin layer on the itchy area 2-3 times a day. Do not use for other itchy lesions and use up to 7 days.
