Ways Of Spinal Tuberculosis Transmission?
What is the spinal cord for transmission of tuberculosis? And if the person is dead and buried if we want takziyah do we have to wear a mask?
Hello Dika, Thank you for the question.
Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis that can occur inside the lungs (pulmonary TB) and outside the lungs (extra-pulmonary TB). Extra-pulmonary TB can occur when bacteria enter the lungs and then spread to other organs through lymph nodes or blood circulation, attacking other organs such as the membranes, spine, lymph nodes, abdominal cavity. This bacterium can enter the lungs when a person breathes in coughing or sneezing splashes and TB sufferers. Bacteria that enter the lungs do not always cause infections in the lungs but these bacteria can settle in the body and spread to other organs, causing infection. Someone who has extra-pulmonary TB can transmit to others if at the same time also has pulmonary TB, but if the person does not have pulmonary TB, then the person cannot transmit this infection. When the sufferer has died, the bacterium will die because the bacteria need the sufferer's body to live. You do not need to use a mask because there is no potential transmission from the body.
You are advised to always avoid yourself from people who are sick and always maintain the cleanliness of your hands to avoid infection.
I hope this helps.
