hello n n so I had diarrhea two days ago and now it’s cured, but why do I now feel nauseous and limp even though the diarrhea has healed. how do I fix it? thank you

1 Answer:

Hi Winona,

Diarrhea can be caused due to infection of the gastrointestinal tract, poisoning, drug effects or others. Most diarrhea resolves on its own, while replacing fluid loss (rehydration). Diarrhea can also be accompanied by nausea, vomiting or fever.

Chances are what is happening at this time is that your digestive disorders have not completely healed. If there are no other symptoms, you can try to overcome the nausea and weakness by eating foods that are easy to digest / soft, odorless and have a strong spice. Rest and drink lots of water.

If there are other symptoms such as vomiting, fever, diarrhea again or weakness does not go away with rest, you should see a doctor for further examination. The doctor will conduct an examination with questions and answers, physical examination and if necessary blood tests. After knowing the cause, the doctor will provide the appropriate treatment for you.

Regards,

dr. Mega
