Good evening, I want to ask if there is a problem with my digestion because when I eat I gain a little weight but when I fast for 1 day (24 hours) I lose weight but immediately have a little breakfast, in the afternoon I weigh how come my weight goes up to weight again at the time before fasting. Even though you exercise regularly 3 times a week for 2 hours each, you drink a lot of water and you almost don’t miss the fruits..rnWell, how do you respond?

Hi Mario,

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.

You need to know, that measuring body weight should ideally be done not every day or every 2 days. New weight changes can be assessed objectively at least after 1 or 2 weeks. This is because, activity, diet, and various other factors can make your weight fluctuate. If you measure your weight after eating, your weight will certainly increase, especially if the food you consume contains high calories.

Many factors can cause easy weight gain, including:

Genetics (innate)
Type of food and drink consumed
Activities and sports to do
Psychological stress
Other diseases suffered, such as kidney, heart, thyroid gland disorders, and so on

Need to clarify, what exactly is your current weight and height? Before worrying about your weight that often goes up, you should calculate first, whether your weight is classified as excess, or still ideal. The trick, you can use the formula for calculating body mass index (BMI), namely:

BMI = weight (kg) : [height (m)] squared

Asian ideal BMI = 18.5 to 22.9

If it is true that you are overweight, you can try the following efforts:

Reduce the portion of food gradually, for example, which was 1 full plate, to 2/3, then 1/2, then 1/3
Limit your intake of foods that are high in fat and simple carbohydrates
Moderate consumption of lean meats, such as red meat, fish, poultry
Stay away from snacks, instant food, preservatives, junk food
Lots of vegetables and fruits
Drink more
Exercise diligently 3 to 4 times a week with a duration of 30 to 45 minutes, for example lifting weights, jogging, yoga, swimming
Stay away from stress
Sleep regularly

If with the above efforts you still find it difficult to lose weight, try to go directly to a nutritionist so that it is evaluated further whether there are certain medical conditions that cause your complaints.

Lose weight

Hope it helps ya..
