What Causes Menstrual Pain, Fever, Lower Abdominal Pain, And Bloody Pee?
Dear doctor, I’m 23 years old. I have a complaint, initially on the first day of my menstruation but it hurt so much that I had a fever and lower back and abdominal pain (usually if I took paracetamol, menstrual pain will decrease / heal). The second day, I found other symptoms such as; high fever (especially at night), headache to the eyes, nausea / vomiting, watery diarrhea, whole body pain especially waist. Finally on the second day, I went to the doctor. Given antibiotics (cotrimoxazole) and diarrhea drugs (kaolin diaphorm). But once I took the medicine, I found urine was bleeding (even though I was menstruating, but I checked the urine was not because of my menstruation), right now my lower abdomen right and left were also painful. (I have a history of urinary tract infections 2x, most recently in December). Do I need to check the symptoms with other doctors? What is the cause of my symptoms. thanks.
Complaints that you experience, right when you are menstruating, can be caused by:
Premenstrual syndrome Recurrent urinary tract infections Stones in the urinary tract Fibroids Cysts Gastrointestinal infections, gastroenteritis Bloody urine, during menstruation, cannot be a definite description of whether blood comes from menstruation or other conditions such as urinary tract infections. Therefore it cannot be used as a benchmark.
In this condition,
Control to the doctor to get medication to relieve symptoms of fever, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, etc. Drink plenty of water If the symptoms of the disease have been resolved and menstruation has finished, you can do additional tests to find out if you have other medical conditions the cleanliness of your genetal organs Please consult a different doctor if you are in doubt with the previous opinion. Thus, hopefully can help
