What Is An Accurate Pregnancy Test And Time?
, I atabina. I had my last menstrual period on December 27, 2017. I should have had my period again on January 16, 2018 but I didn’t have my period either. On January 22 I had sex with my partner . we did 2 days in a row. On that date I should have entered the first day of my fertile period but I didn’t have a menstrual cycle. After having sex for almost a week I have been experiencing severe nausea. One day can be more than 5 times I am nauseous. On the 3rd day after having sex I tried to check using a testpack but the results showed one solid red stripe and one faint red strip. I’m not sure if the results are accurate. When should I retest and in what way can my test results be accurate?
Thanks for the question on HealthReplies.com
For pregnancy tests using a testpack, it should be done after a delay in menstruation for about 1 week because usually HCG hormone levels can be detected by the testpack tool about 12-14 days after the fertilization process occurs. If the results are two red lines but they look faint, you should do a re-examination in the following week. If the results are getting clearer, then do a consultation and examination directly with an obstetrician so that it can be determined how old your pregnancy is with an ultrasound examination.
