Good night r nI want to ask if I have gout pain? R n r nAt first I woke up on the back of my feet I was sick but still bearable, the next day I massaged my aching feet hoping to get better, the next day I do light exercise, I just take a leisurely walk, but a few hours after exercising my feet hurt so badly that I went to the specialist for fractures and sprains. That day I could not sleep peacefully because of the pain and pain in my feet. r n r n My legs were swollen, hot, and red, then the next day my feet started to feel less pain, but because the next day I was forced to walk to buy food with a distance of 150 meters My leg hurts again, to this day. This is day 4 I can’t walk. R n r nIf I walk I have to have a grip if not I fall, and to be able to stand up I am dying of pain in my right leg. Good evening, thanks for the question
Gouty arthritis is inflammation of the joints caused by the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals in the tissues around the joints, due to increased blood uric acid levels.
Complaints can include:
1. Swelling in the joints
2. Sudden joint pain, usually occurs at night.
3. Swelling accompanied by a feeling of heat and redness.
4. Fever, chills, and body aches.
The diagnosis is made based on the above symptoms, the examination can find inflammation in one joint where most often the big toe or other joint in the leg. Other additional examinations such as x-rays of the affected joints and blood uric acid tests.
Other causes of joint inflammation such as sepsis arthritis (due to infection) or rheumatoid arthritis (due to an immune reaction) are still possible.
Treatment of the acute phase of joint inflammation in general is by administering analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs. While definitive treatment must be based on the exact cause. For this reason, consult a doctor to determine the cause of the joint inflammation you are experiencing and the appropriate treatment.
So, I hope this information can be useful
