What Is The Remedy For Swollen Ears?
My right ear has a lump in the front hole after I matched my ear with a cotton bod. What is the doctor’s medicine because it hurts and stings?
Hello Mr. Azure
Based on the complaints you are experiencing, it is likely that you have an infection of the outer ear or what is known as otitis externa. Otitis externa is caused by a bacterial infection, it can also be caused by a fungus. Usually it can be a pimple in the ear canal or swelling of the outer ear. This is triggered by the presence of dirt from the outside, picking the ears, swimming, cleaning the ears too often, moist ears, and so on. Symptoms that may arise are pain in the ear, especially when opening the mouth.
Usually otitis externya treated by giving a tampon containing antibiotics or ear drops. This infection will go away in 5-7 days. To treat pain you can take painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen. If the complaint does not improve within 3 days, immediately consult an ENT doctor. Avoid getting water in the ears, do not pick at the ears and avoid wearing hearing aids or other electronic devices in the ears.
Hopefully useful, thank you
