When Can The Testpack Be Inseminated?
, on February 9, I did an insemination on day 14. When can I do a testpack? Where my period has a cycle of 29-30hr. And at this time I felt the nipples are a little painful and bloating I want to pass wind for a week. Are there any chances of getting pregnant?
Hello Julia Lim,
Test pack is an examination tool to detect elevated levels of HCG in the urine. The HCG hormone is also called the pregnancy hormone, because its levels increase dramatically during pregnancy. The HCG hormone is produced by the placenta, so it can begin to be detected after fertilization results in implantation in the uterus. After implantation results from fertilization in the uterus, HCG levels will increase 2-fold every 2-3 days.
Generally HCG levels in urine can be detected around 12-14 days after fertilization. HCG levels are highest at 8-11 weeks of gestation. In addition to using a test pack, HCG hormone levels can also be measured from a blood test. However, to be accurate you should examine the test pack independently at home, it is recommended after 1 week of your late menstruation.
Use a test pack that is guaranteed quality. Use urine in the morning for examination. Note the tool's expiration date before using. Note the instructions for use, there is a test pack that is sufficiently drained by urine and there is also a test pack that needs to be dipped in a container that has contained urine. Look at the packaging for the right reading time to wait for the results. Avoid reading too long (the test pack is stored) then only read after a few hours have passed because it can cause false positive results.
If the test pack results are negative and you have not experienced menstruation in the following week, the test pack can be repeated again. If the results remain negative but have not menstruated with or without early signs of pregnancy, you should consult yourself directly with an obstetrician. Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
