When Can You Wash Your Face With Soap After Cautery?
Hi doctor r nI have just done couter on the face to get rid of black spots and milia on the face, I want to ask when the face is still slightly swollen and the reddish wound is it right to wash your face directly with soap or wait first until the face is not swollen and redness has decreased?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Cautery (electrocautery) is an action taken to heat a network using electricity to achieve the following objectives:
Prevent or stop post-injury bleeding or surgery
Remove abnormal tissue growth, including in the case of black spots and milia
Post-action, cautery can cause the patient to experience inflammation in his skin, as characterized by redness, swelling, itching, pain, pain, or peeling. This condition needs proper treatment so that it recovers well and does not develop into more severe inflammation.
Treatment for post-cautery skin conditions can vary depending on many factors, including the surface area of the skin affected by the cautery. Typically, post-cautery inflammation in the skin will improve in 2 to 4 weeks. During this recovery period, you should first minimize the use of chemicals on the skin, including the use of careless washing soap. It is feared that improper use of soap actually hinders your skin's recovery process.
It's best if you first consult your skin condition with a doctor or dermatologist who has treated you before. Bring the facial wash soap that you normally use and show the doctor so that the doctor can judge, is it safe for you to use it now, or not.
Hope this helps ...
