When Is The Blood Test During Pregnancy?
Hello, I am 7 weeks 4 days pregnant. I was very worried about the toxo or HIV virus in me. In anticipation of wanting to check the blood test should be at the age of the womb? thank you
Congratulations on your pregnancy. Actually screening screening for various diseases is better done before pregnancy so that if a problem is found the doctor can provide treatment first before the pregnancy program.
However, it never hurts to do the screen also while pregnant. Screening can be done at any gestational age. One screening that can be done is by TORCH examination. TORCH is used to detect toxoplasmosis, rubella, CMV, herpes, and several other infectious diseases such as HIV, syphilis, measles. Hepatitis screening can also be done.
You can consult with your obstetrician about the TORCH test during the next pregnancy control. make sure you do regular pregnancy control to monitor the condition of the fetus properly.
Hope it helps you,
