Hello, good afternoon Hardiantara ..
DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) is a disease caused by a dengue virus infection which is transmitted through mosquito bites. Symptoms of this disease include: sudden high fever, accompanied by complaints of headache (especially behind the eyes), muscle pain, joint pain, nausea, decreased appetite, and bleeding symptoms such as the appearance of reddish patches on the skin, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, vomiting blood, black bowel movements, BAK accompanied by blood, etc. This disease is diagnosed based on the complaints experienced by the patient, the results of physical examination, and the results of blood tests. Treatment of DHF is basically fluid fulfillment therapy and therapy to treat symptoms, such as fever-reducing drugs, anti-nausea, drugs to stop bleeding, or even transfusions if needed (for example in a very low platelet condition).
Regarding food for DHF patients, there are no special restrictions. Food abstinence is more tailored to the symptoms you are experiencing. For example, if you experience nausea or even vomiting, then you should avoid foods that are too acidic and spicy foods. For coconut water and watermelon, these foods and drinks are good for consumption by DHF patients because they contain a lot of fluids that can replace lost body fluids in DHF. However, keep consuming these foods and drinks in reasonable amounts, to avoid the emergence of other diseases such as coughs (due to consuming too much cold and sweet coconut) and diarrhea.
That's all, hope it helps yaa ..
