My menstruation also did not last 3 days at the longest, why?
Hello Shinta, Thank you for the question.
Irregular menstruation can be caused by various health conditions such as high stress levels, excessive physical activity, strict diets, drastic weight changes, thyroid hormone disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and others. PCOS is an impairment of ovarian function caused by the presence of fluid-filled cysts / sacs in the ovaries, increased androgen hormones, and irregular periods. To diagnose PCOS doctors need to do a blood and ultrasound examination. PCOS treatment includes lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, and surgery. The provision of hormone therapy can lead the menstrual cycle to become more regular.
Menstruation is normal if it lasts for 2-7 days. Therefore, if you experience 3-day menstruation then this condition is still fairly normal. What is more important to note from menstruation is the length of menstruation and the symptoms of pain that accompany menstruation. The color of menstrual blood can vary from one woman to another but usually does not indicate a certain medical condition. Clear fluid accompanied by spotting of blood may not be menstruation but vaginal mucus / vaginal discharge accompanied by bleeding that can occur due to hormonal imbalances, pelvic inflammation, vaginitis, cervicitis, and others.
If you still do not understand the cause of your complaint, please consult with your obstetrician and gynecologist. Ask your doctor about diagnosing the condition you are experiencing and taking medication that is recommended by the doctor. Please also consume foods with balanced nutrition, avoid excessive physical activity, and manage stress well.
Hope it helps.
