White Lumps From Baby’s Ears?
Mlm, my baby is 11 months since about 3 weeks ago there was a kind of white ear wax from his left ear. While the right is just ordinary. Although I was a bit surprised I just cleaned it. Babies are not fussy or feverish, just like a match with a finger because it seems itchy. What is wrong with my baby’s ears? How to handle it? Do you have to see a doctor?
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
In each part of the skin, there will be replacement of the epidermis, including the skin covering the ear canal. The skin along with dust that enters the ear canal will gather to form debris or trash that we know earwax. This is normal, you don't need to worry, as long as the earwax does not harden in the ear, the child is not fussy and there are no signs of inflamed ears.
You can see the child's ear is inflamed or not by illuminating the child's ear canal using a flashlight. If there is nothing, such as a foreign object (pieces of paper or toys), redness, swelling and bleeding you don't need to take the child to the doctor. It's enough to just clean the affordable parts gently by using a soft cotton bud too. Don't clean too deep. If necessary, use baby oil so that Cotton Bud does not rub against the skin roughly.
Thus hopefully useful.
