Whitens Skin As Before?
Hello, I am a 16 year old boy. Since I was little, my skin was classified as white and bright / light. But since I got older, to be precise around the beginning of junior high school, now my skin on the forearms, lower legs and soles of the feet is dark brown, and face I turned brown, while the skin on my chest, stomach, upper arms, thighs, has not changed color since I was a child (maybe because of continuous sun exposure).
Sunlight can indeed make the skin red, hot, sore, which over time will dull and look darker. In fact, if it is quickly treated, it can immediately return to its original skin color.
The first step is of course to prevent further damage, namely by using sunscreen when outdoors. Use face creams that contain sunscreen, and lotions that contain sunscreen at least SPF 30. Make sure the products protect you from UVA and UVB radiation. Also, make sure to be protected from the sun especially 10am to 2pm. If you have to, wear comfortable pants and long sleeves, wear a hat to protect your face.
To prevent dehydrated skin, don't forget to consume at least 3 liters of fluids a day. Sufficient nutritional needs so that skin cells can regenerate properly. You do this by eating a healthy, balanced diet, don't forget to eat fruits and vegetables. To relieve skin that is hot and reddish after being exposed to the sun, you can try soothing products that contain aloe vera.
You can use any face wash or body soap as long as you are registered with BPOM and do not cause allergic reactions or irritation to your skin. Regarding the need for supplements and face creams with active ingredients, you should first consult a dermatologist to get the right treatment according to your skin type. If you want to try a whitening cream, make sure it is registered with the BPOM and does not contain dangerous substances, for example mercury. If using a whitening or lightening cream, make sure you also use enough sunscreen, as your skin is more susceptible to the effects of the sun.
