Why After Rubbing His Eyes A Little Hard And Then There Are Blood Spots?
So when I don’t remember, my eyes are like twinkling and I accidentally check them. I was so sleepy I let it. Then, when I woke up in the morning, my eyes were like a blood clot. Is it dangerous?
Hello Lucky, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Are you referring to a blood clot with reddish spots on the white (conjunctiva) of your eyes?
If so, the condition is called subconjunctival bleeding. Subconjunctival bleeding occurs due to rupture of small blood vessels under the conjunctiva of the eye most often caused by a hard cough or a loud sneeze. Subconjunctival hemorrhage can also occur due to straining too hard, vomiting, trauma to the eye (for example a foreign object enters the eye or blunt object bumps on the eye), rubbing the eye too hard can also cause this condition.
Subconjunctival bleeding is basically harmless and does not require specific therapy. This blood will be absorbed by the tissue around the eyes by itself and will disappear by itself within 2 weeks or more. If you experience dry eyes, you can use eye drops that contain artificial tears to lubricate your eyes. If you experience interference with your vision (blurred vision for example), there are other disturbing symptoms (such as pain in the eyes, foreign body sensation in the eye), you should check yourself directly to the ophthalmologist for further evaluation.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
